Behavior Support

As a behavior specialist, Karem works closely with students and parents to determine the behavior capabilities of students as they function at home and in school. She applies customized frameworks and methodologies to help parents and teachers design and implement behavioral interventions to help students overcome challenges and be ready to learn.

Karem empowers parents by educating them about their rights and their child’s rights under federal law. She guides families through the process of communicating effectively with schools, preparing for IEP and 504 meetings, and advocating confidently for the services and support their child deserves. Her goal is to ensure that no parent feels alone or uninformed when navigating the education system.

Individualized Instruction

Karem offers each student a tailored program designed around each child’s unique needs, delivered through one-on-one sessions. She supports young learners with a broad array of educational difficulties — from reading, writing, and math to more individualized needs of students with learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, neurological disorders, and others.

International Services

Karem is pleased to provide consulting services specifically tailored to the needs of expatriate communities living abroad. She begins each client engagement by devoting the necessary time to learn the unique circumstances and needs of the child — including one-on-one interaction with the child, discussions with the parents, and interviews with previous teachers. She then researches the foreign educational system to help determine the optimal school placement and works directly with teachers and administrators to ensure the child’s needs are fully met.

Educational Consulting

Karem works to ensure that families are poised for success by helping them find the correct school placement and services for their child. She has extensive experience providing consultation at every level — advising families, teachers, school administration, and government officials on the best educational techniques and technologies to use in classrooms as well as the individual needs of students. She helps parents navigate IEPs, 504 plans, evaluations, and school communication with confidence and clarity.
